Cultural Services Booking Request

A Welcome to Country is different to an Acknowledgement of Country. A Welcome to Country is a ceremony performed by a local Aboriginal person of significance (usually an Elder) to acknowledge and consent to events on their traditional lands.

BGLC recognises the significance of cultural inclusion of a ‘Welcome’ at your event. Where possible, we will provide guidance if the event requires an official welcome or acknowledgment.

Sadly, we have limited Elders available to undertake cultural services, and we request patience and support whilst we support all requests.

BGLC require a minimum of 14 days' notice for all cultural services bookings.
