Barengi Gadjin Land Council (BGLC) are establishing an Economic Development Subcommittee in 2020. As a recommendation of the recent Westbury review to strength BGCL in preparation for a successful negotiated settlement with the Victorian Government under the Traditional Owner Settlement Act 2010, as well as assisting BGLC in the development and implementation of BGLC's first Economic Development Strategy.
BGLC are currently seeking Expressions of Interest's (EOI) from all Wotjobaluk traditional owners. The EOI's will be open until 31 March 2020. The BGLC board will assess the EOI's at the scheduled April board meeting.
Successful applicants will be appointed to the Economic Development Subcommittee for a period of 24 months.
