About the Role
The Coffee Van Barista helps operate BGLC’s mobile coffee van at events and community locations. The role involves preparing beverages, serving customers, maintaining a clean workspace, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, take orders and process payments
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and light food items
- Restock supplies and maintain a clean service area
- Support high-volume periods by working as part of a team
- Follow food safety regulations
- Assist with displays, signage and inventory
Desired Experience & Attributes
- Barista or food handling experience (training provided)
- Ability to multitask in busy environments
- Friendly, professional manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or in small teams
- Availability on weekends and evenings
