Expression of Interest: Artwork for 2026 Country Plan Review

About:

Barengi Gadjin Land Council is seeking artwork from Wotjobaluk Nations artists and designers for the Reviewed Country Plan.

The artwork will be used in the Reviewed Country Plan document and across supporting communication materials developed as part of the 2026 review process.

We are seeking artwork across two categories:

1. Visual Representation Artwork – $2,000 each

Larger artworks that visually represent key themes within the Country Plan are developed artworks in your chosen format. The themes are:

  • Healthy Country
  • Strong Culture
  • Vibrant People

2. Symbol / Icon Artwork – $500 each

Simple visual symbols representing these ideas:

  • Healthy Climate
  • Growing What is Good
  • Water is Life
  • Cultural Fire
  • Big Sky
  • Recognition and Respect
  • Engaged and Connected Community
  • Speaking Up for Country, Culture and People
  • Good Governance

Artwork may be submitted as a photograph or image of physical work (painting or drawing) or digital files (vector preferred or high-resolution JPEG).  Artwork from multiple artists may be selected. Multiple artworks from an artist may be selected.

  • Name and contact details
  • Short artist statement
  • Whether you are applying for visual artwork, symbol/icon artwork, or both
